back

After 17 years in Boston, Seattle, then Honolulu, Jennifer is back in her hometown of Sarasota, delighted to carry on her father's legacy in community service and commercial real estate. She brings expertise in research and data analysis, which help keep the firm up to date on market trends and to uncover hidden market opportunities for local and international investors.  She is a member of FIABCI, the elite International Real Estate Federation linking 5,000 real estate industry professionals in 65 countries worldwide.

As a Broker and Investment Analyst, Jennifer specializes in selection and acquisition of investment grade commercial properties. She has closed $6 Million in real estate transactions and development projects since joining the Richardson Group in 2004.  She oversees the firm's data intensive approach to site selection using cutting edge technology to map and pinpoint locations that meet client's criteria exactly. Working for a client interested in expanding retail locations, she handled all aspects of site selection, brokerage, development and construction management and delivered five turn-key facilities in two years. The same technology enables data mining for real estate opportunities for investor clients. Most recently, Jennifer used these methods to identify a commercial property 50% undervalue and quickly assembled a private equity group to close the deal.

Jennifer graduated from Pine View School in Sarasota then received her B.A. in Biological Sciences with magna cum laude honors from Wellesley College. During the 11 year Hawaiian vacation that followed, she earned a M.S. in marine ecology and a Ph.D. in natural resource management from the University of Hawaii, and served 8 years on the faculty at Hawaii Pacific University in the Marine and Environmental Science Program.  In Sarasota, she advises the County Commission as a member of the Environmentally Sensitive Lands Oversight Committee. She also serves on the Board of the Wellesley Club of Sarasota.
