After owning and operating three successful businesses, James is back in Sarasota to partner in the family real estate investment firm. Upon graduation from Sarasota High School and a warm-up at Manatee Junior College, he set off to Brooks Institute of Photography in California. While attending Brooks, he formed an advertising firm that specialized in print media. After graduation, James and his new partners changed the firm into a production company and enjoyed a successful run in the Hollywood Biz with movies, music videos, television commercials. With that, James and his wife Fonda left behind the gritty, fast paced life of L.A. for idyllic Wilmington, North Carolina. While pursuing several entertainment industry activities including a commercial production company, he noticed a trend in the real estate business... money could be made by buying houses and fixing them up and flipping them or renting them. James got a crew together and got busy. Five houses later, he found himself a niche in real estate investment.

Since moving to Sarasota James has enjoyed success in buying and selling commercial properties and vacant residential lots. Currently he is working on a thirty-eight unit residential Enclave in Englewood, Florida that will be completed in the fall of '06. With several more residential developments in the works, James has his work cut out for him.

In his spare time, James puts his interests and expertise to work for the community. He is an active new member of the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and also serves on The City of Sarasota Board of Zoning Variances.
